When my previous owner realized her health problems prevented her from being able to properly care for me, she did the selfless thing and released me to the shelter. Here, I will interview applicants until I find my perfect forever home and I'll be the first to admit that I'm having a blast with the entire process!
Described as "extremely loving and affectionate" I am also the kind of boy who needs to know his owner is nearby at all times. You see, when I fall in love I fall really hard and it is most difficult for me to think the person I most love would even dare think spending time away from me. That said, I would do best in a home where someone was nearly always home.
I haven't spend a great deal of time with other dogs, or cats for that matter, so a home without either would perhaps suit me best. Kids? Bring em' on! They just love me, and although I've never lived with any I've met oodles of them on my daily walks.
House trained, I know what it means when told to "go potty outside" and I also understand that I will be rewarded with a treat once my duty is done. Hint, hint! I adore my rawhide bones and have been known to occupy a lap or two in my day. I like the warm ones best, if you know what I mean. A super sweetie, I'm ready to meet my new family today.
