Update: It is bittersweet to share that I am now classified as a Cabin Fever cat. It's sweet that my adoption fee has been reduced to only $50, but it is equally bitter to know that I've been here for a year! I never even thought it possible and shelter staff agree. Both super sweet and completely cuddly it was assumed I'd be in and out of here in no time at all. Perhaps now my time has come. Perhaps it took me becoming a Cabin Fever cat to make it happen. Full Description: When my previous owner was diagnosed with cancer, she soon realized that between her doctor bills and the cost of her medication, there was no money left to cover my veterinary care. So, she called the shelter, put me on the waiting list, and waited for her name to come up. In the meantime, her and I spent our last months together and did our best in preparing to let go of one another. Grateful to have had that quality time, I'm now getting settled in and hoping that my new family will take me home as soon as possible. Still just a youngster, I'm all about batting balls around the house and engaging in any type of play that involves string. I get along great with respectful kids of all ages and enjoy the company of other cats. Those who know me best also know that I have distinct fondness for cars. Whether it be sitting in one, cat napping in one, or going for a ride in one, I'm all in! Completely litter box trained, I'm a striking beauty who is absolutely ready to make the transition to my forever home. Won't that home please be yours?
