When I lost my way and refused to stop hanging around the front porch of a complete strangers home, she finally decided to do something about it.
Each morning when she awoke, she would find me huddled up in a ball trying to keep warm near her door. Persistence paid off! The kind lady made arrangements for my transport to the shelter and I could not be more grateful. You see, not only did I arrive full of fleas but unbeknownst to anyone at the time I was also suffering from significant bites wounds under my coat. It's a mean world out there, and let me assure you I was forced to dodge more than one critter along the way! Now that I am making progress and healing nicely, I fully intend to put the past behind me. With a valuable lesson well learned, I promise never to leave the side of my favorite person but instead begin building a lifetime of unforgettable memories. Won't my favorite person please be you?
