When it was decided it would be in my best interest to find a new forever home, I was brought to the shelter so that I could do just that.
Despite my age, I am healthy as can be and still have a great deal pep left in my step! A very affectionate lady, I'm definitely a lap dog through and through. I adore being close to my owner whether it's following close behind or sleeping in the same bed.
I am very gentle with respectful kids and additionally and do well with cats. When it comes to dogs, I am absolutely scared to death of the large ones. Small ones like myself don't intimidate me in the least but the larger breeds make me tremble. Since there are indeed many big canines at this facility, one can only imagine how badly I want to find a new master to please.
Completely house trained, I know to go to the door in order to alert you of my needs. I spin in circles for treats and I'll either sing or bark when you speak the words "Oreo" or "California." Not that I've ever sampled such a cookie or even been to the Golden State; it's just something I've always done.
